From September 30 to October 18, 2024, a theoretical course on the program “State Flight Safety Inspector - Certification of Specialists” will be held at the Aviation Personnel Training School of the Turkmenhowayollary agency. This was reported on the agency's official website.
The course is organized jointly with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and is aimed at improving the professional training of aviation specialists in accordance with ICAO standards.
The training will be attended by 7 representatives of the Turkmenhowayollary agency and 5 civil aviation specialists from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. They will form a research group of 12 experts, which will allow them to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of flight safety.
Conducting this course will create significant opportunities to improve the qualifications of civil aviation employees of Turkmenistan and their colleagues from neighboring countries, improve training methods and bring them into line with international requirements. This will also strengthen cooperation in the field of aviation security at the regional level.
