The Armenian-Kazakh business Forum was held in Yerevan, organized by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia and the Astana Diplomatic Club on March 27-31, 2024.

Within the framework of the forum, B2B negotiations were held between business representatives active in various sectors: logistics, industry, IT and trade.

During the business forum, President of the Astana Diplomatic Club Kayyrbolat Sakhmetov suggested that Armenian carriers actively use the Iran-Turkmenistan–Kazakhstan transport corridor.

"Since you border Iran, I think this proposal may be interesting. Diesel fuel (diesel fuel) is inexpensive in Iran and Turkmenistan. We border Turkmenistan and Iran — we are connected to it by rail," he said.

According to him, Armenia can load its products onto Iranian or Turkmen trucks or a railway, the goods will be delivered to a dry port on the border with Turkmenistan and from there it is already possible to load trains to any point in Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, China.
