Global pickup truck sales in 2023 increased by 3.9% and reached 6.2 million vehicles, according to a report by Focus2move.
The market leader for 40 years has been the Ford F-Series, whose sales in 2023 increased by 13.4% to 901 thousand units. This allowed Ford to occupy 14.5% of the global pickup truck market.
The second place was taken by Chevrolet Silverado with an indicator of 640 thousand cars sold (+6.6%). Toyota Hilux closes the top three, sales of which, on the contrary, decreased by 7.7% to 571 thousand copies.
This is followed by Ram Pickup (520 thousand, -4.6%), GMC Sierra (368 thousand, +21.3%) and Ford Ranger (299 thousand, +2.4%).
The second half of the rating consists of Toyota Tacoma (258 thousand, -0.2%), Isuzu D-Max (252 thousand, -5.0%), Toyota Tundra (139 thousand, +19.6%) and Fiat Strada (128 thousand, +8.0%).
