The exhibition dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UITP) was officially opened today, March 17, at the Expocenter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital of Turkmenistan. The opening ceremony was traditionally accompanied by song and music compositions.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in his congratulation addressed to the participants of the exhibition, noted that the significant growth in the number of members of the Union over the past 16 years, the success of private initiatives, and the expansion of the sphere of activity of entrepreneurs are significant achievements of state policy in this area.
About 200 pavilions with products produced by Turkmen entrepreneurs are deployed in the exhibition hall.
The exhibition of achievements of representatives of the Turkmen private sector and foreign companies represented in Turkmenistan will last from March 17 to 19 in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Within the framework of the exhibition, a conference of the members of the SPTA will also be held, at which important tasks facing entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan will be discussed.
At the exhibition, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the stands of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Rysgal", well-known fashion brands such as "Nagyşly Güzer", large enterprises and business companies such as "Aýdyön Gijeler", "Aüpekçi" implementing large-scale government projects in Ashgabat and velayats presented their stands.
The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was founded in 2008. Currently, about 29 thousand representatives of private business of Turkmenistan are members of the Union.
The exhibition will continue its work until March 19, until 17:30.
