President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the digital system on March 15, at which a number of priority issues of public life were considered.
The floor was first given to the Chairman of the Mejlis, D. Gulmanova, who informed about the ongoing work to improve the national legal framework.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H.Geldimyradov reported on the measures taken to develop the digital system in the country, expand the range of banking services, increase the types of electronic payments, and improve the system of remote banking services.
Deputy Prime Minister B.Amanov reported on the measures taken by the State Concern "Turkmengaz" to increase the volume of natural gas production.
In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliyev reported on the progress of agricultural work in the agro-industrial complex and regions of the Motherland, as well as on preparations for the upcoming cotton sowing.
Deputy Prime Minister B.Annamammedov reported on the work carried out on behalf of the President of the country to support domestic business and the production of import-substituting products.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Atdayev reported on the preparations on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan for the Turkmen-Japanese Business Forum with the participation of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, scheduled for March 27 this year in Tokyo (Japan).
Deputy Prime Minister M.Mammadova reported on the preparations for the media forum "Turkmen Land – the center of ancient Civilizations", which will be held in Ashgabat on March 28 as part of the celebrations on the occasion of the announcement of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 and the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraga.
Deputy Prime Minister N.Amannepesov reported on the holding of international Olympiads and scientific and practical conferences in higher educational institutions of the country.
Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov reported on the results of the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Austria, undertaken on March 10-13 this year in order to discuss priority areas for further development of traditionally friendly interstate relations.
Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M.Chakyev reported on the work carried out by the agency "Turkmenhowaýollary" to ensure high-level safety of civil aviation in Turkmenistan, modernization of technical equipment at Ashgabat International Airport.
Addressing the members of the Cabinet of Ministers and all compatriots, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the fact that in a few days our country will solemnly celebrate the National Holiday of Spring – the International Day of Novruz.
Stressing that Novruz occupies a special place in the life of the peoples of the East, embodying such enduring universal values as humanism, solidarity and brotherhood, the Head of state cordially congratulated the participants of the meeting and all Turkmen citizens on this bright holiday.
