Turkmen University to Host International Conference of Moscow State University for the First Time

The Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi will for the first time become a venue for two sections of the XXXII International Scientific Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists “Lomonosov”, organized by the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The conference will be held from April 11 to 25, 2025, as part of the International Youth Scientific Forum “Lomonosov-2025”. In addition to Turkmenistan, the forum will be organized at the sites of Moscow State University branches in Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and China. The Turkmen National Institute of World Languages will host the sections “Pedagogical Education and Modern Educational Technologies” and “Theory, History and Methodology of Translation”. Young scientists, postgraduates, master’s students and students can register to participate in the forum and submit abstracts through the scientific and educational portal “Lomonosov” until March 14, 2025. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English. Future linguists and young researchers of the institute are actively preparing to present their scientific reports on current issues of linguistic pedagogy and translation studies. Abstracts of the research will be published in an electronic collection with international indexing, and the authors of the best works will receive diplomas and certificates. This event is part of Turkmenistan's strategy for the development of the scientific and educational sphere and strengthening international cooperation in the International Year of Peace and Trust.
