On the way to Arkadag, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stopped at a multi-lane ring road, where the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City, D. Orazov, presented a detailed report on the planned work. Projects for the capital reconstruction of the street from the bypass road to the city were demonstrated, including plans for landscaping, installation of road signs, advertising banners, and a lighting system.
After reviewing the presented materials, the National Leader of the Turkmen people made several significant adjustments. He emphasized the importance of preserving national values and proposed installing sculptures of famous Akhal-Teke horses along the road, accompanied by information about their origins and achievements. According to him, this initiative would instill a sense of pride in the national heritage among the younger generation.
Additionally, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out the necessity of constructing bicycle lanes and special sand tracks for horseback riding on both sides of the road. Considering the favorable natural conditions of the region, he stressed the importance of creating a comfortable environment for the recreation of residents and visitors.
Currently, as part of the urban development program, large-scale work is planned to develop modern infrastructure within the "smart" city and along the roads leading to it.
