Galkynyş Equestrian Games Group received a 3 million manat award from the President of Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an order according to which the Galkynyş National Equestrian Games group was awarded a cash prize of 3 million manats, TDH reports. The document was signed in order to further improve the art of breeding Akhal-Teke horses, which are an integral part of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and the treasury of human civilization. Akhal-Teke horses occupy an honorable place in the world horse breeding culture, having become the national pride and heritage of Turkmenistan, a standard of beauty, as well as a symbol of the traditions of horse decoration, national equestrian sports and games. The prize was awarded for the great achievements of the Galkynyş group in representing Turkmen "heavenly" horses on the international stage, and for their contribution to arousing interest in equestrian sports and breeding among young people, the State Information Agency said.
