Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prince Albert II discuss strengthening cooperation

During his visit to the Principality of Monaco, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting with Prince Albert II of Monaco. The meeting focused on discussing prospects for bilateral cooperation and current issues in international politics, according to TDH.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Monaco were established in 2015, and this year marks their 10th anniversary. During the meeting, Prince Albert II highlighted Turkmenistan's proactive role in advancing the global agenda, which contributes to enhancing interstate dialogue on a mutually beneficial basis.
The meeting explored opportunities for expanding cooperation in various fields, including culture, sports, and tourism. Special attention was given to developing circus arts and sharing expertise in the tourism sector. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prince Albert II emphasized the importance of elevating bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level, aligning with modern demands and mutual interests.
The official ceremony welcoming the distinguished guest was held at the Prince’s Palace, followed by a joint photo session with the participation of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. During the bilateral meeting in a narrow format, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding constructive partnerships, including within the framework of reputable international organizations.
