The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held another meeting of the State Security Council, where the results of the activities of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-November of this year were summarized, reports TDH.
The first to speak was the Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense Begench Gundogdyev, who reported on the practical steps taken since the beginning of the year to strengthen the country's defense capabilities and align the work of subordinate structures with the realities of the time through the introduction of a digital system. He also reported on the creation of appropriate conditions for the fruitful service and living conditions of the defenders of the Fatherland, the improvement of the professionalism of officers, the process of discharging from the Armed Forces, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the priority tasks within the framework of the implementation of Turkmenistan's Military Doctrine, which is purely defensive in nature. In this context, noting the importance of further improvement and development of the country's Armed Forces, the head of state addressed a number of specific instructions to the Secretary of the State Security Council, the head of the defense department.
Then, the heads of the country's military and law enforcement agencies reported on the work done over the 11 months of this year, the implementation of relevant programs, the introduction of digital systems, and measures to improve the work of the structures they lead.
After hearing the reports, the head of state noted that, according to the Military Doctrine, which is purely defensive in nature, Turkmenistan consistently takes measures aimed at ensuring a high level of security and integrity of its country, strengthening its defense capabilities, as well as improving the social and living conditions of the defenders of the Fatherland and their families.
During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan signed documents on the appointment and dismissal of prosecutors.
At the meeting of the State Security Council, a number of issues were also considered, and appropriate decisions were made.
