President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree awarding the anniversary medal of Turkmenistan 'Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna' to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports TDH.
The award was given in recognition of Erdogan's contributions to the development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey, as well as his efforts in studying and promoting the creative legacy of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Pyragy.
In accordance with the presidential decree, the honorary elder of Turkmenistan, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was also awarded commemorative and gift insignia.
