A parade in honor of Turkmenistan's Independence Day was held in Ashgabat

A parade dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence was held in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat. The solemn event was held in front of the State Tribune complex. Early in the morning, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the Monument of Independence of Turkmenistan, and the day before, ceremonies honoring the best employees of enterprises, organizations and institutions were held in the capital. By Decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a group of citizens were awarded orders, medals and honorary titles for special services to the state and society. The festive parade was broadcast live on the National Television of Turkmenistan.
