The President of Turkmenistan summed up the work of security forces for eight months

The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, where the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-August of this year were summed up. During the meeting, issues of ensuring security and peace in the country, strengthening the material and technical base of the security forces and further improving their activities were discussed, TDH reports.

Defense Minister B. Gundogdiyev was the first to deliver a report, in which he noted the fulfillment of the instructions of the head of state to strengthen the country's defense capability. He also reported on the creation of appropriate conditions for the service and life of military personnel, as well as preparations for the military parade in honor of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the Military Doctrine, which is purely defensive in nature, is a reliable guarantor of a peaceful and calm life in Turkmenistan. Focusing on the upcoming ceremonial military parade in honor of the next anniversary of independence, the head of state instructed the Minister of Defense to ensure its high level.

Prosecutor General B. Muhamedov reported on the practical steps taken to supervise the implementation of legislative provisions in ministries and industry departments. A separate topic of the report was the progress of the implementation of the digital system, as well as the corresponding Development Program. After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of strengthening law and order in the country.

Minister of Internal Affairs M. Hydyrov presented a report on the work of accountable structural units, focusing on the prevention of offenses and ensuring fire safety. He also announced the beginning of the month "Road Safety - Peace of Our Life" and planned activities to optimize traffic flow and raise awareness of pedestrians and drivers about traffic rules.

Chairman of the Supreme Court B. Hojamguliyev reported on the progress of improving the national justice system through the use of digital technologies. A report was also made on the ongoing work to train specialized specialists and implement the tasks defined by the Judicial System Development Program.

Minister of National Security N. Atagarayev reported on comprehensive measures to protect state interests and implement the instructions given by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. He emphasized the need for active implementation of modern working methods and digital technologies.

Head of the State Border Service Y. Nuriyev reported on the steps taken to ensure the protection of the country's borders, technical re-equipment of the Border Troops and increasing the level of combat training of military personnel.

Minister of Justice M. Taganov reported on the results of the activities carried out to bring national legislation into line with the requirements of the time, the introduction of a digital system in structural divisions, as well as organized events to explain to citizens the purposes of the adopted legal documents.

Chairman of the State Customs Service M.Hudaykuliyev reported on the results of the work done during the period under review, the practical steps taken to successfully solve the tasks arising from the Development Program of the department, as well as on the implementation of the instructions previously given by the President of Turkmenistan.

Summing up the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that in accordance with the country's defensive Military Doctrine, measures are being taken to ensure a high level of security and integrity of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan.

Much attention is paid to strengthening the defense capability of a sovereign state, improving the social and living conditions of military personnel and their families.

A number of other issues were also considered at the meeting of the State Security Council, on which relevant decisions were made.
