From October 23 to 25 this year, Ashgabat will host the international conference and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024" (OGT-2024), organized by the state concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit" and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
More than 100 delegations from 20 countries have registered to participate in the international conference and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024". According to ogt-turkmenistan.com, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will also take part in OGT-2024, the delegation will be headed by the company's president Rovshan Najaf, who will speak at the conference.
According to the organizers, OGT-2024 will become an important platform for the sustainable development of the energy sector and attracting foreign investment in the country's oil and gas industry.
This international conference will help strengthen regional cooperation, expand investment opportunities and discuss environmental aspects of hydrocarbon resource development. Participants include heads of leading international energy companies such as Adnoc, CNPC, Petronas, Baker Hughes, TotalEnergies, Shell, ExxonMobil, Siemens Energy LLP, Lukoil, Gazprom, KazakhGas, Tatneft and others. Representatives of authoritative international organizations and financial institutions such as the UN, the UN Economic Commission for Europe, the OSCE, the Asian Development Bank and the Islamic Development Bank will also take part in the event.
