President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida held a telephone conversation during which they discussed the prospects for the development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation, TDH reports.
During the conversation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan highly values the level of interstate relations with Japan and attaches particular importance to their further development in all priority areas. Prime Minister Kishida, in turn, expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between the countries.
Particular attention in the conversation was paid to issues of partnership within international organizations, primarily the United Nations. The leaders also discussed the need to intensify trade and economic contacts between Turkmenistan and Japan.
