The use of the Chennai-Vladivostok route, the North-South International Transport Corridor and the Northern Sea Route by India and Russia in bilateral trade will contribute to the growth of supplies. This was stated to TASS by the General and Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations Ajay Sahai.

In his opinion, one of the important conditions for further growth of trade volumes between the two countries is the solution of logistical problems.

Indian exporters, especially small ones, do not have a clear idea of which route to use for exports to Russia, Ajay Sahai noted.

In this regard, he welcomed the intention to increase freight traffic along the Chennai-Vladivostok route, as well as along the North-South International Transport Corridor and the Northern Sea Route.
