The indicators of the first half of the current year for passenger transportation are a reflection of the effective work of the "Turkmenavtoulaglari" agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
In January-June 2024, the agency transported 122 million 362 thousand 300 passengers, fulfilling the established plan by 105.2%. Let us recall that the result of 2023 in this direction was 118 million 533 thousand 600 passengers. As we can see, the results show that it was exceeded by 3 million 828 thousand 700 passengers. This means a result of 103.2%.
In the first half of the year, passenger turnover amounted to 1 billion 101 million 912 thousand passengers/kilometer, and the plan was fulfilled by 107.6%. This is 36 million 106 thousand passengers/kilometer more than last year's figure, and the growth was 103.4%. In the first half of last year, the result was 1 billion 65 million 806 thousand passengers/kilometer.
