Against the background of a shortage of containers in China and problems with payments, the number of applications for the transportation of goods from China by road has sharply increased, Vedomosti's interlocutors said. This has also led to an increase in auto delivery prices. The number of applications for the transportation of goods from China to Russia by road increased sharply in the first half of the year, Vedomosti reports, citing representatives of logistics companies and the stock exchange ATI.SU . Vadim Filatov, co—owner and deputy director of the PEC transport company, told the newspaper that the number of applications for such transportation in January - June increased by 32% year-on—year, the volume of actual transportation - by 30%.
