Turkmenistan has appointed a new Deputy Prime Minister for science, Education, health and Sports

Bayramgul Motiyevna Orazdurdiyeva has been appointed the new Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan for science, education, health, sports, youth and the public. The relevant decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during an expanded Cabinet meeting in the first six months of 2024, TDH reports. Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva was replaced as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers by Amannepesov Nurmuhammet Kakabayevich, who was dismissed from office "in connection with the transition to another job." Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the President of the country for the high trust shown, B.Orazdurdiyeva assured that she would take all measures to fulfill the priorities set for this complex. Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva was born in 1975 in the city of Kizil-Arvat, Balkan province. In 1996, she graduated from the Magtumguly Turkmen State University. He is a lawyer by profession. She began her career in 1996 as a lecturer at the Department of Constitutional Law of TSU named after Magtumguly. She completed postgraduate studies at the same university in the period 1996-1998. From 1998 to 2014, she held various positions at TSU Magtumguly. In 2013, she was elected a deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation. In 2014-2017, he was Deputy Minister of Education for Higher and Secondary Vocational Educational Institutions. In 2017-2024 – Rector of the Magtumguly Turkmen State University. Since February 2024, he has been the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan. She was awarded the jubilee medals "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 25 ýyllygyna" and "Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 30 ýyllygyna".
