Riders from Turkmenistan will compete for prizes in the Silk Road 2024 rally

The 2024 Silk Road International Rally entry list includes 117 athletes representing Russia, Belarus, China, Mongolia and Turkmenistan. This is reported by Match TV.
The riders will compete in five scoring categories: ATVs, SUVs, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs. A total of 67 vehicles have been declared.
The Silk Road Rally will be held this year on the territory of Russia and Mongolia on July 5-15. The start of the race is scheduled in Tomsk, the finish is in Ulaanbaatar. The total length of the Silk Road Rally will be 5,257 km, the length of the special stages will be 2,993 km.
It should be recalled that in the Silk Road 2023 rally, the Brothers Merdan and Shohrat Toyliyevs, who performed in the Nissan Patrol car of the Turkmenavtolaglary agency, took the honorable second place in the overall standings of the T2 race, having passed such a long and triumphant path.
In addition, pilots of the Automobile Sports Federation of Turkmenistan Maksatmyrat Danatarov and Didar Orazmedov managed to finish the race in third place.
