Today, the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as poetry of Magtumguly Pragy, is widely celebrated in Turkmenistan. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a heartfelt congratulations to compatriots and figures of culture and art of the country. "Culture and art are the spiritual heritage of the people. The development of the cultural system ensures the unity of society and the spiritual revival of the nation," the Message says. Currently, various festivals, concerts, exhibitions, creative meetings, and other cultural events are regularly organized in order to promote the achievements of Turkmen culture and art in the world, increase the professionalism of creative workers, and inspire citizens to fruitful activities in the name of the people and the country. The Cultural Days successfully held in Turkmenistan and abroad contribute to the development of friendly and fraternal relations between peoples. Of particular importance is the Week of Culture, which has become a good tradition and is held on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people. "Today we live in a wonderful time, which Magtumguly Pragy dreamed of, we are proud of the high authority and glory of our country in the world," the President noted.
