The scientific forum at the Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology brought together scientists from different countries

The International Scientific Conference "Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state" was held at the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology in the capital. The conference was timed to coincide with the widely celebrated Science Day in our country. Heads and representatives of the Academy of Sciences and higher educational institutions from a number of foreign countries, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan, took part in the two-day forum organized annually by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in order to strengthen mutually interested cooperation with the world scientific community, along with domestic scientists, Ukraine, France, Estonia, Japan and others. Prior to the start of the scientific symposium, held in a hybrid format, its numerous participants got acquainted with the exhibition of innovative technologies, which gives a clear idea of the high level of development of modern Turkmenistan, where special attention is paid to the comprehensive modernization of the scientific and educational sphere. During the plenary session that followed, the delegates of the representative forum listened with great attention to the welcoming address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who expressed confidence that meaningful events dedicated to Science Day would contribute to the work of scientists in important and promising areas of science, exchange of mutual experience, and strengthening cooperation. Further, representatives of the world scientific community made welcoming speeches – President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia), Doctor of Sciences, Professor Rifkat Minnihanov, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanatbek Abdrahmatov, Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Sciences Vasily Gursky, Chief Scientific Secretary of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Gayrat Bahadirov, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Lyazzat Yeraliyeva and other foreign scientists who spoke about the main areas of activity, promising research and achievements of their research centers. As noted in the speeches, today the country is making active efforts for the comprehensive development of domestic science, focused on solving the primary tasks of socio-economic development. The speakers emphasized that a high degree of internationalization of scientific work implies regular scientific contacts, exchange of experience, internships, joint implementation of international projects and programs, and the development of scientific expertise mechanisms. All this serves not only the effectiveness of scientific research, but also directly contributes to mutual understanding and mutual enrichment of peoples, their fruitful live communication. Noting that the current scientific forum will be an important step towards strengthening the established constructive dialogue, the meeting participants expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty for their multifaceted activities aimed at expanding international, including scientific, partnership in the interests of global sustainable development. Special attention is paid to stimulating the interest of talented young people, creating conditions for conducting relevant scientific research, expanding the range of ongoing research in the most promising areas. The best example of this is the regular holding of a contest of scientific papers among the youth of Turkmenistan on the eve of Science Day. By good tradition, the delegates of the International Scientific Conference were invited to a solemn ceremony honoring the winners of this prestigious intellectual competition, which took place in the afternoon at the Magtumguly Turkmen State University. Today, the scientific forum will continue its work within the framework of seven thematic sections that will be held at leading universities of the country, "Nanotechnology, chemical Technology, the study of new materials and energy" (Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas); "Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Agriculture, Ecology and Genetics" (International Scientific andTechnological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan); "Information and Communication Systems, Computer Technologies" (Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan); "Modern medicine and technologies for the production of medicines" (Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan); "Innovative Economics" (Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management); "Humanities" (International University of Humanities and Development); "Magtumguly Pragy – poet of the human soul" (Magtumguly Turkmen State University). An extensive cultural program has been prepared for foreign guests, including familiarization with museums and other sights of the Turkmen capital.
