Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliev and hakimov velayats, at which the progress of seasonal field work in the country was reviewed. During the meeting, the hakims reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the regions of the country.
As noted, thinning, weeding, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetative watering of plants are currently being carried out in cotton-sown fields in accordance with agrotechnical requirements. At the same time, everything necessary is being done to effectively use agricultural machinery and aggregates.
At the same time, preparations are underway in the velayats for an organized grain harvest season.
On the agricultural lands of the regions, work is carried out on the care and harvesting of the grown crop of potatoes and other vegetable crops.
In addition, information was provided about the successful fulfillment by the sericulture tenants of the planned obligations for the delivery of cocoons.
At the same time, it was reported on measures being taken to properly organize summer holidays for children, prepare for cultural events dedicated to International Children's Day and World Bicycle Day, as well as on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.
After hearing the reports, the head of state emphasized the importance of seasonal agricultural work carried out these days, instructing the hakims to ensure the care of cotton fields in accordance with agrotechnical requirements and to keep under strict control the preparation for the grain harvest season at the proper level.
Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliyev reported on the progress of agricultural work in the velayats.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the tasks facing the agricultural complex, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to keep in mind preparations for the organized start of the harvest season and issues of compliance with agrotechnical requirements for the care of cotton crops.
Addressing the participants of the workshop, the head of state once again emphasized the importance of ongoing seasonal work and instructed to ensure proper care of crops, as well as continue work to prevent the appearance of agricultural pests in the country's fields.
