From April 21 to 27, the delegation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan is on a visit to Georgia. During the visit, an introductory meeting of the delegation in the Parliament of Georgia was held, which was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Finance Gogi Meshveliani and specialists of the committee from the Georgian side. During the meeting, the Georgian side thoroughly familiarized the Turkmen parliamentarians with the main functions and tasks of the supreme legislative body of Georgia, as well as the Budget and Finance Committee. Special attention was paid to the topic of the assistance of the legislators of the two countries to interstate trade and economic relations, the intensification of cultural and humanitarian contacts, ties in the field of education and science, sports and tourism.
