Preparations are underway for the 38th meeting of the Conference of Heads and Responsible Representatives of Railway Transport Organizations of the member Countries of the Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSJD), scheduled to be held on April 15-19 this year in Ashgabat. This was reported by the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M.Chakyev during the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The agenda of the event includes consideration of the results of the activities of specialized commissions and permanent working groups of the Organization for 2023, discussion of the Work Program for the coming years, study of the feasibility of developing a draft Strategy for the development of the Organization, professional training and education of employees of the railway system, etc.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that our country is implementing programmatic measures to develop international transport corridors of regional importance, and mutually beneficial international cooperation is developing.
In this regard, the Head of State instructed the Agency's Director General to prepare for the high-level 38th meeting of the Conference of Heads and Responsible Representatives of Railway Transport Organizations of the member Countries of the Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSJD), scheduled for April 15-19 this year in Ashgabat.
