Work is underway in Turkmenistan to train international-level personnel for the field of civil aviation.
As it was reported at the Government meeting on May 10, it is proposed to organize training for both domestic and foreign specialists in the areas of "Training of the State Flight Safety Inspector" and "National Aviation Safety Observer" on the basis of the Aviation Personnel Training School of the agency "Turkmenhowaýollary", taking into account the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Civil Aviation Conference (EKGA).
The created opportunities will contribute to the improvement of teaching methods in this educational institution in accordance with international standards, and the development of cooperation in this field. In this regard, the head of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M.Chakyev submitted a corresponding proposal to the Head of state for consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that partnership with relevant reputable organizations in the field of training international-level specialists for the country's civil aviation should be further strengthened and ordered the necessary measures to be taken for their training by the International Civil Aviation Organization and the European Civil Aviation Conference.
