Today, on April 4, Head of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Tajikistan on an official visit, the electronic newspaper Turkmenistan reports.
"The national Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has arrived in Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, on an official visit. At Dushanbe International Airport, the high-ranking guest was met by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials," the message reads.
Meetings and negotiations at the highest level are planned within the framework of the visit, following which a number of new documents on cooperation will be signed.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will also meet with Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli Rustami Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda and take part in the joint concert program of the masters of arts of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan — "Evening of Friendship".
