President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and khakimov velayats, at which the progress of seasonal field work in the country was reviewed.
The khakims of the velayats reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the regions.
As noted, cotton sowing is currently underway. The necessary measures are being taken to carry it out at a high-quality level and on time, special attention is paid to the operation of agricultural machinery and aggregates at full capacity.
Wheat care is carried out in the fields of the velayats in accordance with agrotechnical standards, in particular, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation. Along with this, specialized enterprises, reception points, elevators and transport are being prepared for the harvest of grain.
Work is carried out on the care of areas sown with potatoes and other vegetable crops, in compliance with the relevant requirements.
In addition, it was reported on preparations for sports and cultural events dedicated to World Health Day, as well as on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.
After hearing the reports, the head of state emphasized the importance of seasonal agricultural work being carried out these days, instructing the hyakims to ensure that wheat fields are cared for in accordance with agrotechnical requirements and cotton sowing is carried out at the proper level within the established time frame.
The President of Turkmenistan also ordered to take effective steps to timely solve the tasks outlined in the programs of socio-economic development of the country.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that among the important conditions for obtaining rich harvests are carrying out agrotechnical measures on time and at a high quality level, the need to comply with established requirements during current agricultural campaigns, especially cotton sowing and wheat care, and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep these issues under strict control.
Addressing the participants of the workshop, the Head of state stressed that every effort should be made to ensure high-quality and organized agricultural work, compliance with agrotechnical standards. It was also instructed to prepare for the wheat harvest season.
The President of Turkmenistan instructed the khakims of the velayats to ensure a high level of organization of cultural and sports events planned on the occasion of the widely celebrated World Health Day.
