Chairman of the Board of the International Association of Freight Forwarders (UND) Sherafettin Aras and members of the Board visited the President of the Turkish Exporters Association Mustafa Gultepe.
During the visit, visa problems for drivers of international trucks, failures in customs processes, waiting times at border points and problems with quotas for paperwork for international trucks were discussed. During the meeting, they discussed what needs to be done to solve these problems in the industry and the possibility of cooperation. There was an exchange of ideas on what can be done to overcome obstacles in international transportation and make transactions more efficient.
In addition, the issue of holding a seminar with the broad participation of public and non-governmental organizations was discussed. It was stated that this workshop would allow stakeholders in the sector to come together, identify problems and propose solutions.
