Preparations are underway for an international visiting forum on attracting foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan.
As Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov said at a Government meeting, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on the List of exhibitions, fairs, conferences and festivals scheduled to be held by ministries and departments in 2024, the forum is expected to be held on April 24-25 this year in Paris (French Republic).
The Deputy Prime Minister also reported that the necessary work is underway to organize the planned event.
According to the instructions previously given by the head of state, the main attention will be paid to familiarization with investment projects implemented in the energy, construction and industrial, as well as transport and communication sectors of the national economy.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of attracting foreign investment in the country's oil and gas sector. Having focused on the wide presentation of investment projects in this area at the international visiting forum on attracting foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to hold the planned event at a high organizational level.
