Today, on March 16, in Turkmenistan, with the participation of Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the next stage of the implementation of a large-scale landscaping program was launched. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also took part in the nationwide tree planting campaign.
In the Era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, in accordance with the traditions of respect for nature laid down since ancient times, purposeful measures are being taken in the country to preserve the environment, prudent use of natural resources, and the development of a green economy.
Thus, the current action on laying gardens and parks is designed to further decorate all corners of the transforming Turkmen land with a green "outfit". The created woodlands are a kind of "lungs" of the country – an important factor in its environmental safety, and therefore, the well–being and health of the nation.
