On April 17, 2024, during the solemn ceremony of commissioning the Tejen–Mary section of the Ashgabat–Turkmenabat high-speed highway, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov handed over more than 200 new buses to residents of the southern region of the country in honor of this significant event.
Very little time has passed since that day, and new buses are already traveling along the roads of the Murgaba Valley. These are Japanese-made buses of the HIASE and COASTER brands. As a result, dozens of new automobile routes have appeared here both within the city of Mary and connecting the administrative center of the velayat with nearby settlements and etrap centers, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
As noted, the new vehicles are very convenient to operate. For example, drivers of the HIASE minibus can now comfortably and efficiently serve 14 passengers at once. And the trip from one point to another will take them very little time. The same characteristics can be given to "COASTER" buses. The automobile enterprise also has three convoys in the Yolotan, Takhtabazar and Bayramali etraps. Some of the new buses were placed at their disposal.
The expansion of the passenger vehicle fleet at this enterprise made it possible to increase both the number of drivers and the maintenance staff of new equipment.
