The first Agroexpress train, sent from Russia to India, will pass through Turkmenistan

This train, organized by the logistics operator of the Russian railways "Russian Railways Logistics" and LLC "Dry Port Yuzhnouralsky", consists of oat flakes and cereals, the press service of JSC "Russian Railways" reports.

According to the information, 31 twenty-foot containers loaded with oat flakes from the Russian manufacturer Uvelka went from the Formachevo station (South Ural Railway) to the Sarakhs station in Turkmenistan.

It is noted that at the arrival station, the containers will be overloaded and will proceed through Iran to the port of Bandar Abbas, and then by sea to the Indian port of Mundra.

The planned transit time to the destination port is 35 days.
