From July 1, Russia will increase the recycling fee for certain categories of special equipment, it follows from the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation (ist.). The fee for new loaders will increase almost 2.3 times, to 1.8 million rubles. The increase will affect several segments of off-road dump trucks: for example, the collection for used cars with a capacity of over 1,750 hp will increase 2.5 times, to 29.3 million rubles. Heavy bulldozers, which have been produced in Russia since 2023, will be scrapped, the newspaper quotes a message from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. For new machines with a capacity from 600 to 800 hp. it will amount to 5 million rubles, for bulldozers older than three years — 22.4 million rubles. A single recycling rate will be set for tracked tractors and bulldozers. The agency explained this by the need to "curb unfair practices, according to which, due to the difference in coefficients, tracked bulldozers were registered under the guise of tracked tractors."
