Mass bike ride to be held in Turkmenistan on June 3

On June 3, the capital of Turkmenistan will host a mass bike ride to mark World Bicycle Day, according to the Turkmenistan State News Agency (TDH). Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, presented a plan of physical fitness, sports, and wellness events dedicated to the occasion. Between May 30 and June 3, bike rides, sports competitions, scientific and practical conferences, and educational events are scheduled to take place across the velayats as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, after hearing the report from the Deputy Prime Minister, emphasized the importance of thorough preparation for the World Bicycle Day celebrations. The head of state instructed that all physical and sports activities be organized at a high level across the country.
