International Textile Industry Exhibition to Be Held in Ashgabat

At a recent government meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Noker Ataguliyev, reported on the ongoing preparations for the international exhibition and fair "Turkmentextile Expo-2025," which will take place in Ashgabat from June 11 to 13, according to TDH. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the event is being organized in accordance with a relevant decree of the President of Turkmenistan. The exhibition and fair will bring together textile industry enterprises, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs active in this field, as well as foreign companies. The program will include fashion shows by local and international designers, as well as workshops dedicated to ancient Central Asian textile techniques and modern technologies. The event will provide an opportunity for participants to explore the latest achievements in the textile industry, establish and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, and exchange best practices. Following the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country’s high-quality textile products are in great demand on the global market. He noted that conditions are being created for the effective introduction of advanced, high-performance equipment at existing industry enterprises. "It is necessary to thoroughly prepare and hold the international exhibition and fair 'Turkmentextile Expo-2025' at a high level," the President instructed the Deputy Prime Minister.
