The meeting of the Turkmen-Saudi inter-parliamentary friendship group took place

А meeting of the Turkmen-Saudi inter-parliamentary friendship group was held via videoconference. This was reported on the website of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, parliamentarians of Turkmenistan spoke about the main directions of the country's domestic and foreign policy, based on the principles of positive neutrality, as well as about the structure and work of the Mejlis. The importance of consistent development of equal and mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was emphasized. The parties discussed issues of developing and strengthening inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries, cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations. Turkmen parliamentarians were informed about the Development Program of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the period up to 2030. Mutual confidence was expressed that friendly inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries will contribute to strengthening mutually beneficial multilateral cooperation.
