President of Turkmenistan and Advisor to the Prince of Monaco Discuss Cooperation in Sports

The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, met with the Advisor to the Prince of Monaco, founder and president of the "Peace and Sport" organization, Joël Bouzou. The meeting took place as part of the celebrations dedicated to the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, reports TDH. During the conversation, the head of the Turkmen state emphasized the significance of the meeting during the days when the country celebrates a holiday dedicated to the horse – an integral part of world culture and a symbol of the centuries-old art of horse breeding. The Advisor to the Prince of Monaco expressed his readiness to strengthen the partnership with Turkmenistan in the field of sports. Special attention was given to the recent visit of Oguljahan Atabaeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to the Principality of Monaco, which, according to both sides, was held in a constructive manner. The participants of the meeting expressed confidence that the results of the negotiations held during the visit would give new qualitative substance to bilateral cooperation. Joël Bouzou noted that it was a great honor for him to develop promising cooperation with Turkmenistan — recognized worldwide as a reliable partner, including in the field of sports, the agency notes.
