Turkmenistan and the UAE strengthen cooperation in the information sphere

Negotiations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister Myahri Byashimova and a delegation from the WAM news agency from the UAE. According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the parties outlined the main directions of bilateral Turkmen-Emirati cooperation in the media sphere. The General Director of the WAM agency, Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, spoke about the activities of the agency he heads and noted the importance of the visit for establishing contacts in the field of information. In turn, Myahri Byashimova emphasized the high level of cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of media, which is a promising area. Mohammed Raisi on the Turkmen side at the Global Media Congress in Abu Dhabi in the fall of 2024. The parties agreed to establish an exchange of news and information about the achievements of the two countries. This will strengthen cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE in the information sphere.
