Valentina Matviyenko invited to celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality

Within the framework of the 150th Anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which is being held in Tashkent from April 5 to 9, the Turkmen delegation headed by the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova met with the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matviyenko. During the meeting, the parties noted the expansion of Turkmen-Russian interstate cooperation, strengthening friendly relations between the peoples, according to the official website of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. The parties emphasized the importance of meetings and negotiations between parliamentarians of the two countries in further cooperation and exchange of best practices. D. Gulmanova invited V. Matviyenko to take part in events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
