On March 25, a meeting was held between Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, and the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of culture, as well as female heads of the mass media of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the organizational status and significance of the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Interests of Children", which will be held on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, was discussed in detail, TDH reports. The activities of the Foundation are primarily aimed at addressing health issues and providing assistance to children who have suffered as a result of accidents in the country and other countries of the world. In this regard, the advisability of announcing the competition "International Year of Peace and Trust: Children's Outlook, Worldview" with the support of the Foundation was noted. O. Atabaeva noted that the competition, which has a special role in revealing the creative abilities of the younger generation, should be approached responsibly, ensuring a high level of organization. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the fact that the large-scale activities of the Foundation, based on humanistic principles, should be widely covered in the press, on television and radio broadcasting channels; it is necessary to widely popularize the activities of the Foundation. The country's mass media should constantly cover the noble initiatives implemented in this area. Along with the media, the Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the intensification of its joint work with the relevant structures are of great importance in this direction. It should be noted that, guided by humanistic principles, the Foundation, at its own expense, helped restore the health of more than 500 sick children, as well as equip children's hospitals operating in different parts of the country with the most modern medical equipment. The Foundation also does everything necessary to reveal the creative abilities of young people and achieve their life goals, the source notes.
