An international seminar on expanding opportunities in transport and trade was held in Avaza

The 18th international seminar on simplification of procedures for conducting operations to expand opportunities in the field of trade, transport and information exchange was held in the Avaza National tourist zone. As reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the seminar was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the United Nations Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia. Over the course of two days, the participants discussed the exchange of information on cargo transportation within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, which runs through China, Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and further to Turkey and European countries. It was emphasized that the exchange of information should comply with the standards of the United Nations Center for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business Operations. The Center is a subsidiary intergovernmental body of the UNECE and acts as a coordinating link for recommendations on trade facilitation and e-business standards covering both business and government business operations.
