An Interdepartmental Commission for the Development of Foreign Economic Activity Established in Turkmenistan

By decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, an Interdepartmental Commission has been established to further develop Turkmenistan's foreign economic activity and to draft documents aimed at promoting cooperation with international economic organizations and financial institutions. The composition of the Commission and its Regulations have also been approved. According to TDH, the document was signed in line with the objectives set in the Revival of the New Epoch of a Powerful State: National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052 and the Concept of the Foreign Policy Course of Neutral Turkmenistan for 2022–2028. It also aims to enhance partnerships with international and regional institutions to further develop the country’s foreign economic activity.
