Japanese and Korean companies will participate in the development of medical infrastructure in Arkadag

The national Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with representatives of the South Korean Kogeua Meditech Co. Ltd. and Japan's Sumitomo to discuss the construction and equipping of medical cluster facilities in the city of Arkadag, TDH reports. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care. During the negotiations, prospects for cooperation within the framework of the implementation of the Saglyk State Program were discussed. Special attention was paid to an integrated approach to equipping medical facilities using the latest scientific achievements and innovative technologies. Representatives of a South Korean company with significant experience in the construction and equipping of medical facilities presented a report on their activities in Turkmenistan. The head of the Japanese company Sumitomo expressed his willingness to work together on the project and stressed the importance of partnership with Turkmenistan. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan has significant natural resources, including environmentally friendly natural gas, which can be used in the production of medicines. He also stressed the success of existing iodine products and licorice root preparations for medical purposes, whose products comply with international environmental standards.
