A new Galkynyş payment system is being introduced in Turkmenistan

The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan has started developing a new Galkynyş payment system aimed at expanding the range of remote banking services for organizations and individuals. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H.Geldimyradov at a regular government meeting. The initiative is part of a program to digitalize the country's banking sector and improve the efficiency of financial services. The proposal to introduce a new payment system was approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. After hearing the report, the head of state instructed to carry out all necessary work on the implementation of the Galkynyş system, emphasizing the importance of constantly improving the quality of banking services in the country and the development of digital technologies in the financial sector.
