Representatives of the judicial system of Turkmenistan visited London to exchange experiences

Representatives of the judicial institutions of Turkmenistan visited London as part of a project by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat aimed at improving the work of the judiciary in accordance with international standards and the principles of the rule of law. This is stated in the message of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan. The main purpose of the visit was to study the best practices of the judicial systems of Great Britain and other foreign countries with a view to its subsequent implementation in the judicial practice of Turkmenistan. This visit is part of the efforts undertaken within the framework of the Development Program of the Judicial System of Turkmenistan for 2022-2028, aimed at further improving the work of the country’s judicial system and introducing generally recognized norms of international law into national legislation.
