The President of Turkmenistan discussed the development of sports with the head of the Olympic Council of Asia

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia, President of the World Aquatics Organization Hussein Al-Musallam, TDH reports. During the meeting, the priorities of Turkmenistan's state policy in the field of physical culture and sports, as well as international cooperation in this field, were discussed. Turkmenistan actively cooperates with the International Olympic Committee, the Olympic Council of Asia and other international organizations, seeking to expand regional and international partnership. Special attention was paid to the development of water sports, which contribute to the education of physically strong and healthy young people. As noted, thanks to international competitions regularly held in Turkmenistan, the cultural and spiritual values of the Turkmen people, distinctive national traditions and customs, economic achievements, achievements in science, education, and art are widely popularized in the world.
