The results of the work of Turkmenistan's law enforcement agencies in 2024 have been summed up

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an expanded meeting of the State Security Council, which analyzed the results of the activities of military and law enforcement agencies in 2024 and identified priorities for the current period, TDH reports. During the meeting, the heads of key law enforcement agencies – the Ministry of Defense, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Supreme Court, the Ministry of National Security, the State Border Guard Service, the Ministry of Adalat, the State Customs and Migration Services – presented detailed reports on the work done. The President emphasized the need for comprehensive strengthening of the country's defense capability, including modernization of the technical base, introduction of digital technologies, professional development of personnel and improvement of social and living conditions of employees. The improvement of military equipment, the training of qualified specialists and ensuring national security were identified as key areas. On the eve of Defenders of the Fatherland Day (January 27), the Head of state emphasized the importance of military personnel and law enforcement officers, their role in ensuring the independence, sovereignty and constitutional order of the country. At the end of the expanded visiting session of the State Security Council, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country's Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the military and law enforcement officers, emphasizing their importance for ensuring the peaceful life of the people.
