The second edition of the international scientific collection 'Traces of Centuries' has been published in Turkmenistan. The collection is published in Turkmen, English, and Russian by the National Directorate of Turkmenistan for the Protection, Study, and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments. According to TDH, the publication continues to acquaint readers with materials on the study of the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people. The pages of the collection feature reports on archaeological excavations in the country, unique exhibits in the collection of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, and much more. The issue opens with an article dedicated to the tenth annual meeting of the National Commissions for UNESCO Affairs of the TURKSOY member states, held in Ashgabat as part of the events marking the declaration of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 by the International Organization of Turkic Culture. The article 'Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments of Turkmenistan (History and Modernity)' emphasizes the significance of the many archaeological and architectural monuments in the country, the importance of their study and preservation. The scientific articles in the issue are divided into sections such as 'History,' 'Archaeology,' 'Restoration,' 'Numismatics,' 'Art History,' 'Architectural Heritage,' and 'Personalities.'
