Turkmenistan solemnly celebrated the New Year 2025

Festive celebrations of the New Year 2025 took place all over Turkmenistan. Decorated Christmas trees and the participation of children added a special atmosphere to the beloved holiday. According to TDH, in Ashgabat, famous pop singers performed, and public festivities were held on the square in front of the State Circus and on the Ilham Alley. In front of the Cultural and Entertainment Center "Alem," near the Main Christmas Tree of the country, shining with colorful garlands, residents and guests of the capital gathered for the solemn meeting of the New Year. Representatives of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as the velayats, joined the celebration via digital communication in the format of a teleconference. On behalf of all compatriots, the host of the celebration congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on the New Year, which will be held under the motto "International Year of Peace and Trust," wishing them good health, long and happy life, and success in all endeavors for the prosperity of the Motherland and the well-being of the people. Then the host announced the start of the festive teleconference. The live connection united residents of different regions of the country, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, who congratulated each other on the New Year. Songs were sung, and lively dances were performed. The New Year's teleconference was concluded by the capital of independent neutral Turkmenistan. Residents of Ashgabat gathered in front of the Cultural and Entertainment Center "Alem," as well as the country's leadership, wished their compatriots well-being and happiness. Artists joined them with creative congratulations. Then came an important moment of the teleconference: President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the people of Turkmenistan with a New Year's greeting live. In a moment, the clock hands stopped at 12, the National Anthem of Turkmenistan was played. The sky of Ashgabat was lit up with festive fireworks. Turkmenistan entered the new year with good wishes!
